  1. So many great films here that you’ve nominated and awarded. The Social Network is a great choice for ensemble, and Inception for Cinematography. I had planned to watch Animal Kingdom earlier this year, but then never did, but seeing it here on your noms list makes me want to see it. After seeing The Lobster, I now want to see Dogtooth. Also plan on seeing A Prophet. Dheepan was great, and think A Prophet will be too. Maybe even better.

I think I’m gonna make a list like this too. Most of my nominees and winners would come from these 6 films: Inception, The Social Network, True Grit, Black Swan, 127 Hours, and The Town.

    1. A Prophet is better than Dheepan, as is Rust and Bone. Let me know what you think of Animal Kingdom too. I suspect Dogtooth will destroy your brain, you have been warned.

Would love to see your lists for that year too.

  2. Good selections. Although I’m a diehard Social Network fan, I like the inclusion of A Prophet, Gosling, and Ghost Writer score as some of the best things from that year.
