Was Pulp Fiction a dead cert for Best Original Screenplay? Is Tom Hanks to win his second consecutive Best Actor award? Would Dianne Weist grab another Best Supporting Actress win under Woody Allen? Can Jessica Lange add Best Actress to her Best Supporting Actress win from the 80s? What would be the ratio of laughs to cringes from the audience reacting to host David Letterman?
