Oscar-Winner Acting Tournament – The Finale

And so it is. Just like you said it would be. Life goes easy on me. Most of the time. And so it is. The shorter story. No love, no glory. No hero in her sky.
I can’t take my eyes off of you.
I can’t take my eyes off you.

And so it is. You voted, you rejoiced, you grumbled, maybe shed a tear (so close, Marion, so close). And so it is. 64 Oscar-winning performances, hundreds of votes later, down to just 2. One woman. One man.

It’s Mathilda vs Hawkeye. Anne Boleyn vs John Proctor. Padmé Amidala vs Bill the Butcher. Jackie Kennedy vs Abraham Lincoln. Oscar winners Natalie Portman and Daniel Day-Lewis AKA Nina Sayers and Daniel Plainview now come face-to-face to decide who you (and I) have voted for as the Best Acting Performance by an Oscar-Winner of this Century.

It’s time. Three videos apiece – behind the scenes, a clip, and those Oscar winning moments. Take a deep breath. Off you go.

I make sure it's known the company's in business. I'd see that it had a certain panache. That's what I'm good at. Not the work, not the work... the presentation.

  1. It was a very tough pick, but in the end I voted for Daniel Day-Lewis because of the subtle nuances of his performance and because of that church scene where he’s on his knees asking for forgiveness. Simply amazing!

    1. I abandoned my child!
There’s a bit when Eli slaps Daniel, and Day-Lewis gives Dano a look, and it’s almost like he fell out if character for a second and wanted to floor Dano.

      1. Haha! I’m going to have to watch again and look for that moment and see the look you’re talking about. That’s fantastic.

      1. No matter which way you twist it, there is no denying that DDL is the best thing to happen to screen acting since Brando and O’Toole. Unlike them, he chooses projects carefully and doesn’t waste a drop of his talent.
We’ve done well choosing him, as well as the other 3 finalists . This group should vote on Oscar.
