San Diego Film Critics Society Stand Strong For Get Out

The San Diego Film Critics Society pulled their weight behind Get Out which won both Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. Even though Lady Bird was runner-up in both categories, it still pulled off a Supporting Actress win for Laurie Metcalf who tied with Allison Janney for I, Tonya. Other notable wins include the battle between two James’ in Best Actor: McAvoy for Split and Franco for The Disaster Artist, and Sally Hawkins tying with herself in Best Actress for her performances in The Shape Of Water and Maudie
