The eve of the 11th Femme Filmmakers Festival is upon us. The prep is never truly done, but my oh my we have come a long way this year. And a tough year for so many reasons. The online event has grown and grown over the years, and although independent from Filmotomy, we stand by the festival and support it like a loyal sibling.
The 11th edition celebrates a curated selection of feature films with women behind the camera, 41 short films which incorporate 76 online screenings across the 10 days, as well as so much content across the two sites. Plus we have some amazing partners this year, including the usual FilmInquiry and In Their Own League, but also Short Stuff and CinePlatform among the film ambassadors joining us this edition.
