The Cinema Audio Society has unveiled the winners of the 61st Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing in 2024. A Complete Unknown took home the award for Motion Pictures – Live Action, The Wild Robot picked up Motion Pictures – Animated, and Music by John Williams earned Motion Pictures – Documentary.
Sound mixer Tod A. Maitland was honoured with the CAS Career Achievement Award. Dune: Part Two director Denis Villeneuve received the Cinema Audio Society’s Filmmaker Award.
