An array of diverse animated films across several mediums, were honored earlier with the Annie Award nominations. As expected, Pixar and Disney top the tree with Incredibles 2 and Ralph Breaks the Internet respectively. There are also good showings for the likes of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Early Man, Mirai, Mary Poppins Returns, The Emperor’s Newest Clothes, Next Gen, Isle of Dogs, and Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch. I’ve included the full list of nominees, yes, the TV stuff as well as the film stuff. I’m good like that. The Annie Awards winners will be announced on Saturday 2nd February.
