As the COVID-19 era brings greater emphasis on aligning film festivals with the online platform, here at Filmotomy we are now in the early stages of building the 2020 Femme Filmmakers Festival. In its 5th year, the FemmeFilmFest is now open for submissions for the short film programme. And also can reveal the official poster for the 2020 event, which will run from 28th August through 6th September 2020.

The Femme Filmmakers Festival is an exclusively online film festival, which showcases the short and feature film works directed by women. We promote and encouraging live viewings, offer details of where you can stream films, and we provide extensive coverage via reviews, podcasts, interviews etc.
At the close of the 10 day event we run a Roll of Honor for the selected short films to give a grand hat tip to some of the exceptional work. You can check out previous winners here.
