There’s no excusing the much more low-key event this year as the Femme Filmmakers Festival enters it’s 8th year. This very writer is humble enough to admit that personal life can indeed take over everything else. But, we’ve made it and have a bunch of feature and short films to scream about over the 10 days from Friday 22nd September thought til Sunday 1st October 2023.
This year’s films directed by women will dazzle, provoke, impress, shock, entertain you all no matter where you are when you watch them. Each and every film is available for you to view and we’ll show you how. In fact, we’ll shove them down your throat. There are four sections for the 8th FemmeFilmFest: the usual feature film selection; then the short films with the competition selection, the showcase selection and with the classic short weekend we revisit a curated bunch of outstanding short films that have graced previous years of our glorious online festival.
