In a repeat of last year, the nominations for the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards both picked the same five nominees for Best Animated Feature Film in Arco, Elio, KPop Demon Hunters, Little Amélie or the Character of Rain, and Zootopia 2. It’s starting to feel like these will be the final five for the Academy as well.
Both award shows have six spots, so there might be hope for CCA nominee In Your Dreams or Golden Globe nominee Demon Slayer: Ki me t su no Yaiba Infinity Castle, but I don’t think either film has much hope of snatching a spot with the Academy. In terms of nominations predictions, this is one of the dullest races of the season.
