Another year of me not being at the Cannes Film Festival remains somewhat depressing, but even from afar (well, across the North Sea) my passion for this glorious event has no limits. I followed a lot of the coverage from friends and peers across the film journalism world, most of which I have held in high esteem with the gratitude I bestowed upon them. Bravo to you all again, you made not being on the Croisette much more manageable.
Onto business, though you all know by now, the closing ceremony of Festival de Cannes took place earlier this evening. I made my own predictions across Twitter a couple of hours ago from the extensive write-ups I did over the last 10 days that never reached publishing stages sadly.
