Final Oscars Nominations Predictions – Best Production Design

With the Academy’s nominations announcement drawing closer by the day, it’s time to lay it all on the line with my final Oscar nomination predictions. In the battle for Best Production Design, we’ve got four contenders who all nabbed nominations from all four major precursor awards; the Art Directors Guild, BAFTA, Critics Choice Awards, and the Set Decorators Society of America. Going off that stat, we should really consider Barbie, Poor Things, Oppenheimer, and Killers of the Flower Moon safely in the top four here. That leaves the door open for a number of contenders to take that final spot. I think the period designs of Napoleon are enough to get it over the line, but don’t be surprised to see four-time nominee Adam Stockhausen sneak in as Asteroid City‘s lone nomination.
