Netflix released 3 new character trailers for their brand new animated film ‘Klaus’ from ‘Despicable Me’ co-creator, Sergio Pablos.‘Klaus’ is Netflix’s first animated feature film and coming from a former Disney animation designer, this looks to be a hit for all ages for the upcoming holiday season.
Enter the 3 main characters from the film, Klaus, Jesper and Alva. Jesper (voiced by Jason Schwartzman), characterises himself as the postal academy’s worst student, leading to stationing himself on a frozen island above the Arctic Circle, where local feuding runs strife. Down on his luck, Jesper discovers an ally in local teacher Alva (voiced by Rashida Jones) who’s classroom is often left empty because of the age old family feud in Smeerensburg.
Together, they discover Klaus (voiced by J.K. Simmons), a obscure carpenter who lives by himself in a cabin full of handmade toys. When Jesper forms an unlikely friendship with Klaus, they transform their town, forging a new legacy of generous neighbours, magical lore and stockings hung up by the chimney with care, as well as transforming Alva’s classroom for the better.
‘Klaus’ will be released in select cinemas on the 8th November and will be released globally on Netflix on the 15th of November.
