The 10th Femme Filmmakers Festival – coming 19th through 28th September 2025 – has finally finalised the films made by women to be shown much love at this year’s event. A staggering 63 short films (more than double the usual amount) have been chosen for this very special online celebration, broken down into three distinct categories.

The new segment is the Entrée Selection, where 19 short films from some first time film-makers, but primarily actual film students, make the cut. Then we have the usual Competition Selection, with 21 short films from the current season, and 23 pre-season short films land in the Showcase Selection. So collectively with the 24 feature films across the 10 days of the event, we will be giving the limelight to 87 films with women behind the camera.

Here, for now, is the complete short and feature film line-up. And shortly we will reveal this year’s official poster as well as meeting the competition jury. A full program of events including profiles, scheduling, and further information about the 10th edition is to follow. As is the launch of the official Femme Filmmakers Festival website.
