Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has won eight categories at the 2024 DiscussingFilm Critic Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Cillian Murphy and Best Adapted Screenplay. Elsewhere, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie scored four wins for Best Comedy, Best Original Song for “I’m Just Ken,” Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design.
Founded in 2019, the DiscussingFilm Critic Awards (DFCA) is a celebration of the year’s most worthy and impactful films. The DFCA voting body consists of a diverse range of established film critics, awards pundits, and influential voices from around the globe. The 2024 DiscussingFilm Critic Awards were determined by a dedicated voting group, which now includes bold voices from DiscussingFilm itself and major outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, The Wrap, and many more.
