Oppenheimer Wins Best Picture at Critics Choice Awards

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has won Best Picture at the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards. The film also picked up awards for Best Director, Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr., Best Acting Ensemble, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.

Elsewhere, The Holdovers picked up a trio of acting awards for Best Actor for Paul Giamatti, Best Supporting Actress for Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Best Young Actor/Actress for Dominic Sessa, while Barbie took home six awards including Best Comedy and Best Original Screenplay.

America Ferrera was awarded the #SeeHer Award, which is given each year to a woman who “advocates for gender equality, portrays characters with authenticity, defies stereotypes and pushes boundaries,” while Harrison Ford was bestowed the Career Achievement Award.
