Reading, Writing, Arithmetic #2

So here is your homework. Some of the more interesting, and in some cases thought-provoking, articles I have read in the last few days. As well as two podcasts that should not be missed (as per normal with Awards Daily and Gold Derby), and a tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman, that bright star we lost a year ago this week.

On a lighter, much more current note, did anyone see that football game? You know which one, that game squeezed between those commercials, trailers, and Katy Perry (though it appears the sharks stole the show)? For the 3% of the population who haven’t seen that half-time entertainment, I have included it at the foot. I’m nice like that.
