Society Of Composers And Lyricists 2025 Winners Announced

The Society Of Composers And Lyricists have announced the winners of the 7th Annual SCL Awards where the top winners were Ludwig Göransson for Outstanding Original Score for a Studio Film for Sinners and Bryce Dessner for Outstanding Score for an Independent Film for Train Dreams.

Göransson and Raphael Saadiq also won Outstanding Original Song for a Drama or Documentary for “I Lied to You” from Sinners, and, alongside director Ryan Coogler, received the 2026 Spirit of Collaboration Award. The SCL recognised Göransson and Coogler for their longstanding creative partnership on Coogler’s films, including Fruitvale StationCreedBlack PantherBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Sinners.
