Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson’s Summer of Soul leads the way at the nominations for the 37th Annual IDA Documentary Awards with four nods including Best Feature and Best Director for Thompson. Jessica Beshir’s Faya Dayi and Nicholas Bruckman’s Not Going Quietly each earned three nominations.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Paramount Studios, Los Angeles. Full list of nominations below.
