The British Society of Cinematographers announced the recipient of their 69th annual Best Cinematography In A Feature Film Award is Lol Crawley for The Brutalist.
The Operators Award, presented by the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC), Association of Camera Operators (ACO) and Guild of British Camera Technicians (GBCT) named Karsten Bloch Jacobsen DFF and Simon Finney ACO Assoc BSC the winners for their operating on Wicked.
The BSC bestowed its Special Achievement Award on the Manaki Brothers International Film Festival – this the 45th anniversary of the festival. The Bert Easey Technical Award was won by the lens rehousing company True Lens Services (TLS).
The BSC John Alcott Memorial Award was awarded to Milan Krsljanin for his services not only to the society but also our community as a whole.
The Dee Edwards Award was posthumously awarded to Ed Ratcliffe, who sadly passed away last year at the age of 30. His passion and creativity touched many in our industry and Ed’s mother was on hand to receive the award in her son’s honour.
