The Lost Daughter Wins Best Feature at 2021 Gotham Awards

Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter has won Best Feature at the 2021 Gotham Awards. Gyllenhaal also won Breakthrough Director and Best Screenplay. Elsewhere, the newly-created gender-neutral category for Outstanding Lead Performance ended in a tie with both Olivia Colman (The Lost Daughter) and Frankie Faison (The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain) taking home the Award.

CODA co-stars Troy Kotsur and Emilia Jones were awarded Outstanding Supporting Performance and Gotham Breakthrough Performer Award, respectively. Drive My Car won Best International Feature and Flee took out Best Documentary.

In previously announced tribute awards, Jane Campion received the Director’s Tribute, the cast of The Harder They Fall were presented the Ensemble Tribute, Kristen Stewart and Peter Dinklage were awarded the Performer Tribute, and Magnolia Pictures chief Eamonn Bowles was honoured with the Industry Tribute.
