The Power of the Dog Named Best Picture by San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle

Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog has dominated this year’s awards from the San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle with eight wins including Best Picture. Campion picked up Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, while the film also scored wins for Best Film Editing, Best Original Score, and a trio of acting wins. The film’s only unsuccessful nomination was Best Cinematography which went to Bruno Delbonnel for The Tragedy of Macbeth.
