The Tragedy of Macbeth Declared Best Picture by Critics Association of Central Florida

Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth has been declared Best Picture by the Critics Association of Central Florida at their inaugural awards. It was the film’s only win with Coen and cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel both runners-up in Best Director and Best Cinematography, respectively. Denis Villeneuve’s Dune picked up four awards for Best Director, Best Cast, Best Cinematography, and Best Score.

Established in 2021, the CACF is an organisation of critics based in or around the Central Florida area with a passion for cinema, both as a medium of entertainment and as artistic expression. The CACF is comprised of working film and television critics who regularly contribute critiques through print, radio, television, podcast, online or other relevant means.
