(Films Clockwise: Sister Wives, Fire at Will, Happy Snaps, and Let it Flow) - Filmotomy

(Films Clockwise: Sister Wives, Fire at Will, Happy Snaps, and Let it Flow)

Filmotomy is ecstatic to announce the winners of the 10th Femme Filmmakers Festival. Opening on 19th September with the closing ceremony on 28th September, the festival champions and celebrates the very best selection of short films from female filmmakers across the world.

This year saw expressive, moving, and poignant stories covering important topics from the growing pains of the female journey to the feelings of falling in love, and all the agonies of falling out of love…

We supported poetic documentaries like Issabella Orlando’s Topos to Louisa Connolly-Burnham’s powerful, Sister Wives starring EE BAFTA Rising star winner, Mia McKenna-Bruce. Throughout the showcase, we featured female coming-of-age stories, emotional family dramas, and everything in between.

Each year Filmotomy awards the top three prizes to the very best films of the festival. The Gold Sovereign, the Silver Sword and the Bronze Bell are the topmost prestigious awards. The competition selection jury members have awarded prizes to the following winners.
