Toronto Film Critics Association announced their film awards for 2017. No major surprises, it was The Florida Project‘s turn to take the top film prize. Get Out continued to hit home its legitimate awards season power with First Feature and Screenplay wins. Fresher, welcome wins came from the likes of Daniel Day-Lewis (Phantom Thread) winning Best Actor, The Breadwinner taking Animated Feature, and Greta Gerwig winning Best Director for Lady Bird – an extremely popular win.
