The BAFTA Games Awards 2025 saw the top prize of the night for ‘Best Game’ awarded to Astro Bot which swept the awards ceremony winning a total of five BAFTAs. The prestigious awards first began in 2004 and has since honoured the best in the game industry each year. Popular games such as Balatro, Thank Goodness You’re Here! and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II were nominated 3, 7, and 9 times respectively across several categories.

It was also a great night for the psychological horror game, Still Wakes the Deep which sees gameplay set in an oil rig in 1970s Scotland.
