What makes your Website / Podcast stand out from the rest?
We are an entertainment and lifestyle online magazine based in Austin, Texas. We are a team of four women writers who cover film festivals, music festivals and all the happenings around Austin and Texas (sometimes out of state.) We each have a point of view and love talking about different things and that’s made Shuffle Online a place to get unique and well-written articles. We interview an array of Austin-based or visiting artists in music, film, art, and television. Some of these people are well-known or some are just starting out. Shuffle Online highlights those artists and gives them a platform to tell their story and share their projects. Shuffle the Podcast is now an outlet for our team to further that conversation and where we deep dive into things we are excited about and some of the interviews we are doing with artists! So check it out.
Where do you see your Website / Podcast in the next 5 years?
We will be venturing out to out of state film festivals and will have built a community of other film and music lovers and TV junkies. That’s the dream!

What is one of your greatest Childhood Movie Memories?
Watching The Mummy 2 in theatres with my family. Up until that point, we didn’t go to the movies that often, so it was a really big deal to me. Plus, The Mummy franchise is one of my favorites.
Who were your Movie Star crushes growing up?
Orlando Bloom, Richard Gere, Sean Connery, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves

Where do you stand on Streaming Services and their place in film?
I believe that streaming services are providing opportunities for films that normally didn’t get a place to be made or seen. I love that there are so many different services where filmmakers and actors can have a chance to shine. I think that it’s a great thing for Film and if the quality of a film meets the requirements, they should be able to receive the same accolades as other theatrical releases.
What is your Honest Opinion on the entire Star Wars saga?
LOVE IT!

Write what you love and don’t try to be something you’re not. Embrace your POV and the rest will start taking shape. Enjoy the lows and highs because they make you a better writer and podcaster. And always keep learning and asking for feedback.
