Roma Wins Top Honors at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2018

The Critics’ Choice Awards have been announced. The near-400 members of the Broadcast Film Critics Association have come to the consensus that Roma is the best film of 2018 – Alfonso Cuaron yet again nails the Best Director prize. With the event taking place while still a couple of days left for AMPAS voters to fill out their ballots, who knows if this is too little too late. A disappointing night for The Favourite which had 14 nominations. Black Panther and First Man made an impact, as did A Star Is Born, with Lady Gaga sharing Best Actress with Glenn Close, and Christian Bale winning twice for Vice. The winners are right here:
