It is certainly one of the most anticipated announcements for this editor when the Cannes Film Festival announces the selections for the new edition. As always, there are some very familiar names bringing their latest films to the Croisette this year. There are also some filmmakers who we can excitedly get to know even better as they join the illustrious international package coming this May.
This year we have Anna Miller venturing off to the south of France to represent Filmotomy (as well as making me extremely envious for not being there again). There will, of course, be some retrospective film content from previous years at the great festival.
In the meantime, have a look at the line-up announced today. And keep an eye out for the official schedule in the coming weeks.
