‘The Substance’ and ‘Nosferatu’ Lead the Way with the 6th Pandora International Film Critics Awards Nominations

Pandora International Film Critics Filmotomy 2024 Nominations

The Pandora International Film Critics announce their nominations in 23 categories for the 6th edition of the awards. The nominations were announced on Wednesday 11th December 2024 across social media. With 13 nominations, Coralie Fargaet’s The Substance heads the pack, with Nosferatu from Robert Eggers not far behind with 10 nods. Awards season favourites – and fellow English Language Motion Picture nominees – The Brutalist (8 nominations), Anora (7), and Conclave (7), also scored high.

Emilia Pérez was somewhat of a surprise omission from the International Motion Picture line-up even with 5 nominations. The top award did include All We Imagine As Light (4), The Seed of the Sacred Fig (3), Grand Tour (2), I’m Still Here (2), Red Rooms (2), and The Girl with the Needle (2). Joining them are Documentary Motion Picture nominees, Dahomey (2) and No Other Land (2). Some other less expected – but completely worthy – entries include acting nominees Lily-Rose Depp (Nosferatu), Brigette Lundy-Paine (I Saw the TV Glow), Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), and Keith Kupferer (Ghostlight) – as well as Directing nods for Luca Guadagnino (Challengers) and Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow).

I make sure it's known the company's in business. I'd see that it had a certain panache. That's what I'm good at. Not the work, not the work... the presentation.
