After dominating with 10 wins at the Annie Awards to add to its victories at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, KPop Demon Hunters remains our undisputed frontrunner for Best Animated Feature. You’d have to presume it will take the Producers Guild Award this weekend and really put that final nail in the coffin.
It won’t be a clean sweep for the Netflix animated phenomenon, due to its ineligibility at the BAFTAs where Zootopia 2 (aka Zootropolis 2 in the UK) expectedly won. But we all know that victory will be the only spoils Disney sees this season….unless something wild happens at the PGA in a few days.
