Best Original Song Oscars Predictions (February)

After the Oscar nominations announcement for Best Original Song in late January brought us the head-scratcher of “Sweet Dreams of Joy” from Viva Verdi! and the annual obligatory nomination for Diane Warren (“Dear Me” from Diane Warren: Relentless), we settled back into watching “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters continue to grow as one of the biggest locks of Oscar night.

In February, it scored a win at the Society of Composers and Lyricists Awards to add to its clean sweep of victories at the Golden Globe Awards, the Critics Choice Awards, and the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. At this point, nothing is stopping it.
