Elvis Leads 2022 AACTA Awards Nominations

Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis leads the way at the nominations for the 2022 AACTA Awards with 15 nods each including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Lead Actor for Austin Butler. Leah Purcell’s The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson and George Miller’s Three Thousand Years of Longing each earned 13 nominations.

Presented by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts whose membership contains professionals from a cross-section of the screen industry, the awards are considered the highest honour in Australian film. Winners will be announced in Sydney on December 7. Full list of nominations below.
