Emilia Pérez Dominates 2024 European Film Awards

Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez has dominated the 2024 European Film Awards with four wins from four nominations for European Film, European Director, European Actress for Karla Sofía Gascón, and European Screenwriter. Gascón makes history as the first trans actress to win this award.

Wim Wenders received the European Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of his outstanding body of work, his ever-present sense of curiosity, and his contributions to cinema throughout his career. In other special honors and awards, actress and filmmaker Isabella Rossellini received the award for European Achievement in World Cinema for her impressive work across the industry. Macedonian producer and actress, Labina Mitevska received the Eurimages International Co-production Award to mark her outstanding commitment to co-production and co-producing partnerships.
