Final Oscars Predictions – Best Visual Effects

Much like its predecessor, Dune: Part Two has felt like the eventual winner of Best Visual Effects since the start of the season. It’s picked up wins from BAFTA and the Critics Choice Awards. It took home four awards from the Visual Effect Society. The only bump along the way is the fact those VES wins didn’t include their top prize of Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature. Does that suggest a surprise upset for VES champion Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is waiting in the wings? Eh, not really.
