The London Film Critics’ Circle brought a rather refreshing breeze across this wards season. With Joanna Hogg’s The Souvenir (7 nominations) and Ari Aster’s Midsommar (3 nominations) scoring well among the regular big guns. Florence Pugh might well be cheering loudest with three nominations from the UK critics – for her collectives work in 2019 as well as individual nods for both Midsommar and Little Women.
