The Substance Declared Best Picture by New York Film Critics Online

Coralie Fargeat’s The Substance has been declared Best Picture by the New York Film Critics Online. The film also picked up Best Director for Fargeat. Elsewhere, Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist scored five wins for Best Actor for Adrien Brody, Best Supporting Actor for Guy Pearce, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Use of Music.
