USC Scripter Award Nominees Announced

The Scripter Award us given to what is considered the best screenwriting adaptation of the year by the USC (University of Southern California) Libraries. The 32nd annual Scripter Award ceremony will take place on 25th January 2020. Here are those nominees in film for 2019:

Matthew Carnahan and Mario Correa – Dark Waters (based on the New York Times Magazine article “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” by Nathaniel Rich)

Steven Zaillian – The Irishman (based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt)

Taika Waititi – JoJo Rabbit (based on the novel Caging Skies by Christine Leunens)

Greta Gerwig – Little Women (based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott)

Anthony McCarten – The Two Popes (based on his play The Pope)
