Winners Named from the Georgia Film Critics Association

The Georgia Film Critics Association announced their winners representing the films of 2018. Although the usual suspects pick up prizes, the question on whether or not critic darlings
Ethan Hawke (First Reformed) and Toni Collette (Hereditary) can head for Oscars. Check out the winners below:

Best Picture: A Star is Born

Best Director: Alfonso Cuarón (Roma)

Best Actor: Ethan Hawke (First Reformed)

Best Actress: Toni Collette (Hereditary)

Best Supporting Actor: Sam Elliott (A Star is Born)

Best Supporting Actress: Emma Stone (The Favourite)

Best Original Screenplay: Bo Burnham (Eighth Grade)

Best Adapted Screenplay: Spike Lee, David Rabinowitz, Charlie Wachtel, Kevin Willmott (BlacKkKlansman)

Best Cinematography: Alfonso Cuarón (Roma)

Best Production Design: The Favourite

Best Original Score: Justin Hurwitz (First Man)

Best Original Song: “Shallow” (A Star is Born)

Best Ensemble: The Favourite

Best Foreign Film: Roma

Breakthrough Award: Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade)

Best Animated Film: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Best Documentary Film: Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

Oglethorpe Award for Excellence in Georgia Cinema: Black Panther
