24th Costume Designers Guild Awards Nominations Unveiled

The nominations for the 24th Costume Designers Guild Awards have been unveiled by the Costume Designers Guild. The guild has recognised the period costume designs of Cruella, Cyrano, House of Gucci, Nightmare Alley, and West Side Story and the contemporary designs of Coming 2 America, Don’t Look Up, In the Heights, No Time to Die, and Zola.

This award is seen as a major precursor to the eventual winner of Best Costume Design at the Academy Awards. Last year, Ann Roth won the Period Film prize for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom before her eventual Oscar win.

The 24th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards will be announced at an in-person ceremony on March 9 at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Full list of nominations below.
