I’m sure there are not many at this stage wondering where my blog posts are of late. And I’m sure there are not many who do not know I was in London from Sunday to Tuesday. And the London element kind of explains the lack of blog posts element. It was not a holiday as such, but certainly a short break for the family, as briefly scribed in my other recent London post.
Some of the notable places we did visit though were the huge Regent’s Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as admiring the high life in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (yes, that’s what they call it). We ate Greek food in Covent Garden, took a trip to Baker Street where Sherlock Holmes lives, and pottered about in Islington. Not to mention an after dark visit to Oxford Street, and a daytime visit to Camden Market.
Here, though, are ten things that I (or the family) definitely did not experience – some more thankfully than others:

* = Granted, not all of these movies are wholly based in England’s capital (like the subway in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), nor is a huge toilet classed as rainfall (yet the effects may be the same), but all have scenes set in London.
