2021 Producers Guild of America Awards Nominations Announced

The Producers Guild of America has unveiled their nominations for 2020 across three categories honouring feature films, animated films, and documentary films. In previous years, the nominees for Theatrical Motion Pictures have been a strong indication of the eventual Best Picture line-up. Last year, seven of the ten PGA nominees went on to nab a Best Picture nomination.

A few notable omissions in Nightmare Alley, The Tragedy of Macbeth, and the absence of at least one blockbuster like No Time to Die or Spider-Man: No Way Home. In their place are Being the Ricardos and tick, tick… BOOM!, which most pundits consider on the periphery of the Best Picture Race
