Highlights of the lineup for this year’s Berlin Film Festival, running from February 10-20, include: A new film from Kamila Andini, whose Indonesia-set coming of age Yuni topped many rankings among Letterboxd users last year, Sundance premiere Call Jane, from Phyllis Nagy (screenwriter of Carol), the already controversial Fassbinder remake Peter Von Kant, and a new film from Hong Sang-Soo, who released two new features in 2021. This year’s edition of the Berlinale received criticism for not offering virtual press access the way it had in 2021.
