First 8 Winners Revealed by Excellence Jury of the 2019 EFA

Prior to the 32nd European Film Awards on 7th December, the Excellence Jury Members locked themselves in a darkened room to come up with winners in the 8 technical categories. The group was made up of French editor Nadia Ben Rachid (Timbuktu), Croatian cinematographer Vanja Černul (Crazy Rich Asians), German composer Annette Focks (55 Steps), Dutch make-up artist Gerda Koekoek (Instinct), Irish costume designer Eimer Ní Mhaoldomhnaigh (Love and Friendship), Portuguese production designer Artur Pinheiro (The Great Mystical Circus), Norwegian sound designer Gisle Tveito (U – July 22), and Hungarian visual effects artist István Vajda (Midsommar).
