The Femme Filmmakers Festival 2026 is back for another exciting year championing female filmmakers. From shorts to feature films, this is where female voices are showcased across various genres through drama, documentaries, and narrative fiction among many others.

Celebrate the 11th edition of the Femme Filmmakers Festival running from 14th to 23rd August 2026. We welcome everyone to join. You can sign up for screening links and watch the films live alongside us.

There will be three screenings running for each film – in consideration for worldwide time zones. Filmmakers, their cast, and crew will also be participating across select screenings so you too can be involved in asking questions during the post-screening Q&As. We actively encourage participation from audience members.

As per previous years, Filmotomy will be teaming up with Femme Filmmakers Festival to provide coverage on both the short film and feature film screenings. Various coverage for the festival may include reviews, podcast episodes, roundtable discussions, viewing parties, and more. See below for the full schedule.
