Festival de Cannes 75th Edition Official Selection Announced

Yesterday, Thursday 14th April, it was that time again for Pierre Lescure and Thierry Frémaux to announce the Official Selection for the 75th edition of the Festival de Cannes. This year’s festival runs from May 17th until May 28th, with organisers and visitors alike hoping for even more normalcy in light of the last couple of years. We can look forward to seeing the likes of filmmakers Cristian Mungiu, Hirokazu Kore-eda, David Cronenberg and Claire Denis attending events at the Croisette – the current selection (which will no doubt be extended over the coming weeks) are as follows:
