Final Oscars Nominations Predictions – Best Sound

With the Academy’s nominations announcement drawing closer by the day, it’s time to lay it all on the line with my final Oscar nomination predictions. Oppenheimer, Maestro, and Ferrari all scored nominations with the Cinema Audio Society, the Motion Picture Sound Editors, and BAFTA, so they all feel like the safest bets in this category. Killers of the Flower Moon couldn’t crack BAFTA, but that’s hardly fatal. And there’s been so much universal love for the sound design of The Zone of Interest, which should carry it to that final spot.
