Good Night Oppy Dominates 7th Critics Choice Documentary Awards

Ryan White’s Good Night Oppy has dominated the 7th Critics Choice Documentary Awards with five wins for Best Documentary Feature, Best Science/Nature Documentary, Best Director for White, Best Narration for Angela Bassett, and Best Score for Blake Neely. Elsewhere, Fire of Love was named Best Archival Documentary, Descendant scored Best Historical Documentary, Navalny earned Best Political Documentary, and The Beatles: Get Back walked away with Best Music Documentary.

For the first time, the category of Best Documentary Feature included two runner-up winners. Daniel Roher’s Navalny earned third place, while Sara Dosa’s Fire of Love came in second.
