Reading, Writing, Arithmetic #27

I’m entitled to promote myself from time to time you know. I don’t endeavor to do that directly, even though I plug my own website for the first time in the 26h edition of my series of thumbs-up recommended links. With that in mind I just want to remind you all of the good work from Jazz at Awards Daily (and more recently over at the TV site) with the interview I did with her, and also to generate much more interest in the ongoing female film-makers awareness. The above terrific photo of Chelsea Christer demonstrates just a small part of the current ongoing and very worthy shout-outs and campaigns – note and discover such hashtags as #womendirect, #womeninfilm, #directedbywomen by the way. Look out too, then, for the next installment of the 100 Films Made By Women at this very site. Until then let’s take a look at seven web clicks well worth your time.
