San Diego Film Critics Society Shortlist Sally Hawkins For Two Great Performances

The San Diego Film Critics Society announced their annual list of nominees and thus far, they’ve proven to be the most colorful of the various critics groups that have announced their batch of nominees.
For starters, Sally Hawkins managed to double dip in Best Actress with her work in The Shape Of Water and Maudie. While Armie Hammer and Michael Stuhlbarg have been previously cited in Best Supporting Actor for Call Me By Your Name, the San Diego Film Critics Society nominated two men in Supporting Actor from a different film instead: Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Also, Catherine Keener gets a surprise mention in Supporting Actress for Get Out along with Bria Vinaite for The Florida Project and James McAvoy gets his first citation in Best Actor for Split.
Winners will be announced on Monday, December 11th.
